What makes eLingual.Net different for translators, interpreters, and clients?

eLingual.Net is a meeting place guided by one simple principle, 'spread happiness'.

Our mission

eLingual.Net's mission is to spread happiness worldwide through happy translators, interpreters and clients.

For the professional translator and interpreter, this means no middleman, no job bidding, the freedom of setting their own fees, having control over their services, and who they choose to work with.

For the clients, this means working directly with ethical and professional translators and interpreters committed to quality, value, and professionalism.

Our belief

At eLingual.Net, we believe we can improve how clients, translators, and interpreters connect.

Beta since 2013, we understand the importance for our company to operate transparently and know you want to join a network which works hard to integrate fair and ethical practices.

Our efforts are focused on making sure our members are happy and that we operate in a manner consistent with our mission, brand values, quality, and professionalism.

We succeed only if both professionals and clients are happy.

This happiness is accomplished through our three guiding principles: connect, empower, and support.

CONNECT

eLingual.Net connects professional translators and interpreters with quality and ethically conscious clients, by providing a meeting place to present and offer their services.

eLingual.Net connects clients with professional translators and interpreters worldwide by providing detailed profiles to inform clients about who is providing the services.

EMPOWER

In a profession where there are so many unqualified so-called translators and interpreters, middleman, machine, and crowd-sourced amateur translators, it is difficult to know who actually does the translations and under what conditions.

eLingual.Net empowers clients by helping them work with professional translators and interpreters directly and providing them with the information they need to make more conscious choices.

We give clients the choice to say no to translation-sweatshops, poor quality, and bad business practices, while encouraging them to use their wallets to make our world happier.

eLingual.Net empowers professional translators and interpreters by giving them control over their services, fees, and who they choose to work with.

We give translators and interpreters the support they need to build a successful business from their services.

SUPPORT

eLingual.Net supports language preservation by promoting the human element for future generations to enjoy.

These last few decades we have seen a rise in good professional translators and interpreters forced to give up their professions in favor of more lucrative careers, causing the deterioration in the quality, standards, professionalism, and fees of translations and interpretations worldwide.

eLingual.Net provides a place which allows translators and interpreters to do what makes them happy, so they can operate successful professional businesses.

eLingual.Net also supports the professional translator and interpreter community worldwide by spreading the word and raising awareness through our services, apparel, and this blog about the valuable role they play in our daily lives.

We at eLingual.Net donate a portion of our profits to honorable non-profits.

As we grow together, we are committed to giving back to our community and beyond.

Spread happiness

Join our movement in spreading happiness by supporting fair, ethical, transparent, quality, and professional services, education, and advocacy for translators, interpreters, and their clients.

So, where do you find that perfect translator or interpreter that will communicate your message correctly? eLingual.Net is a great place to start! We will help connect you with translators and interpreters who match your needs.

As always, thank you for reading and sharing my posts.

Feel free to connect or email me, Carmen Arismendy.  I'm a professional Spanish interpreter-translator and founder of eLingual.Net.  I started the eLingual Network because I could not find a fair, no middleman, no job bidding, ethical, and transparent meeting place for translators, interpreters, and clients online.  The website is in beta phase and by no means perfect but it's a step in the right direction.
Join our happy community, let's work together!
